Cattywampus
is Kim's first CD, an eclectic selection of Scottish and American
traditional and contemporary songs. Cattywampus (meaning “askew,
cater-cornered”) ranges from Child ballads through lively Scottish
mouth music to contemporary American pieces such as “Sauerkraut,”
by Lou & Peter Berryman. There’s a cappella singing (from
one to four voices) as well as fine instrumental backup on guitar,
dulcimer, concertina, recorder, fiddle, dumbeck and electric bass.
